525 Main Street "The Donaghue"

Residential Living at The Donahue is an exciting new opportunity offered to all UConn Hartford students.  The impact that living in a residential community has on a students’ academic and social life is significant.  We are staffed with one live in full time professional as well as three live in student Resident Assistants. Our RAs live one on each floor and help to build community and provide support to residents.  The Residential Living and Education team will work collaboratively with the Hartford campus faculty and staff to provide additional programs and events in the building.  We provide 24-hour emergency/crisis response and work collaboratively with our UConn Police Department.  

There are eleven apartments per floor and floors are not divided by gender. Choose from three living options - one bedroom/two person, single studio, or double efficiency apartments. Individual apartments are single sex. Internet connectivity is provided, and apartment residents are not required to purchase a meal plan. Custodial staff takes care of hallways, common areas and stairwells. Residential Living and Education staff are on site to assist students as needed. 

The community will have 3 Resident Assistants (RAs) led by 1 Residence Hall Director (HD).
